Start Date: as soon as possible

Salary: Grade 10, £26,824 - £28,142 FTE per annum (Actual Salary based on weeks worked and hours: £15,589.36 - £16,355.34 p.a.)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 25 hours per week (Monday to Friday), term time only to exclude INSET days (39 weeks)

The Role

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and resourceful Early years and KS1 Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting high-quality provision, helping to ensure that all pupils can access learning effectively.

You will receive training and support to develop your knowledge and skills, enabling you to deliver effective learning experiences for learners.

 The successful candidate will:

✅ Be passionate about making a difference to all children

✅ Have experience supporting children’s learning, ideally within a school or classroom environment, this can be voluntary

✅ Be aspirational for every child and believe that all pupils can learn – even if they haven’t learnt something yet

✅ Be flexible and able to adapt their practice to support effective learning

✅ Build strong, positive relationships with colleagues and children

✅ Be a reflective practitioner with a strong desire to learn and continually improve

Fluency Duty 

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
