Job overview
You’ll be delivering core aspects of the Mathematics curriculum, leading and implementing outstanding teaching practices to instil key knowledge within learners and using assessment and feedback to sustain and raise achievement. Experience of KS5 (A level or IB) would be an advantage. Potential for a KS coordinator/ 2nd in department, depending on the candidate.
The right candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification
- We also welcome applications from ECTs
- Relevant specialist qualifications and experience in Secondary School environment (e.g BSc in Mathematics or related degree), ideally KS5.
- Evidence of recent relevant professional development
- A good understanding of curriculum and assessment requirements for Mathematics
- Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning to ensure all learners progress and achieve to a high standard in preparation for examinations
