Join us!

At Futura Learning Partnership, we are committed to creating an environment where every employee - whether in teaching, support, or leadership - can flourish. We strive to attract, develop, and retain the very best talent by creating a culture that values professional development, wellbeing, and inclusion.

Your Role in Building Brighter Futures

Bridge Farm Primary School wish to appoint a Pastoral Support Assistant to support our SEN/vulnerable children at school with their learning. This role would work closely with the Learning Mentor and SENDCo to ensure all children could access learning. The successful candidate would be happy to support children when they are finding it hard to settle to learning in school.

As a Pastoral Support Assistant at Bridge Farm Primary School, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about living our values and making a positive impact on all the young people in our Trust.

As Pastoral Support Assistant you will support children to engage in learning activities within the mainstream classroom, and outside of the classroom where needed. You will encourage them to take pride in their achievements, be confident in group participation, and in sharing ideas through the delivery of SEMH interventions. You will also support staff in implementing individual behaviour plans and strategies when dealing with challenging behaviour. There may be times when children need outside of class support to re-regulate and be refocused for learning. You will be involved in regular reviewing children’s behaviour plans to make sure that the children are supported to the best of our ability.

What You’ll Bring to Futura

We are looking for a person who can build a strong rapport with children. You will be a positive role model for children, supporting them in achieving their best. You will work with children to help them to engage in their learning, ensuring that they feel cared for and listened to. You will set boundaries and routines and respond to the children’s needs if the class teacher or 1:1 LSA is needing support.

The ideal candidate will be someone able to demonstrate a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all members of our school community and who aligns with our trust-wide values by bringing a positive, collaborative approach to their work and a willingness to continuously develop professionally.

We can offer:

  • Happy children who are eager to learn
  • A committed, supportive and friendly team who work together to achieve the best outcomes for our children and families
  • A large site where opportunities for outside learning can be maximised
  • A team committed to professional development supported by internal expertise and outside collaboration

What We Offer to Support Your Growth

  • Professional Growth: Continuous Professional Development (CPD), inset days, rotation and secondment opportunities, and leadership succession programmes.
  • Wellbeing Support: Initiatives like ‘Wellbeing Moments,’ flexible working arrangements, and access to our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for mental health support.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Generous defined pension schemes, Health Cash-back Plan (covering dentist, physiotherapy appointments etc.), and multiple retail discount schemes.
  • Sustainability Commitment: Reducing our carbon footprint through our Climate and Nature initiatives across all schools.
  • Inclusive Culture: A collaborative environment where diversity is celebrated, helping staff bring their best selves to work and thrive in their roles.

Application Deadline: 23/02/2025 @ 23:59

Interviews are likely to be held on 03/03/2025.
