The Governing Body of Porthcawl Comprehensive are seeking to appoint a dynamic, energetic and inspirational teacher of Computer Science & Digital Technology, to hold second in department responsibility.
The Department consists of a committed team of specialists who motivate and enable pupils to progress and achieve at all key stages, while fostering an enthusiasm for the subject. The successful candidate will need to bring leadership, passion and enthusiasm to the role to ensure the high standards expected at Porthcawl Comprehensive School are maintained.
The successful candidate will be a graduate with the ability to teach Computer Science & Digital Technology to KS3-KS5. There will be the possibility of teaching either subject to A Level for a suitably experienced candidate.
The school operates an excellent induction and professional development programme. This includes Talk Teaching, Learning First and Professional Enquiry. There are regular opportunities for leadership development and school improvement projects annually.
