Teacher of Science/Physics
Bryntirion Comprehensive is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Science/Physics on a Maternity cover basis. Bryntirion Comprehensive School is a successful, popular and happy school. Contract: Maternity Cover Sept 23 - May 24
Salary: MPS/UPS
Reporting to: Head of Science
Liaising with: SLT, Heads of Department, Heads of Year, relevant support staff, LA staff, governors and parents
Job Purpose: To undertake the responsibilities of a classroom teacher
Pedagogy

1. Develop strategies, structures and systems to ensure the achievement of the vision for the school and its principles for teaching and learning.

3. Ensure that routines are focused on promoting highly effective learning, including self-study.
4. Ensure that the learning environment is purposefully organised for effective learning.
5. Seek the views of learners to provide insight into the effectiveness of teaching and learning.
6. Uphold the principles of high-quality teaching and learning within the curriculum area.

1. Set example to learners, colleagues and community with a positive commitment to enjoy learning the Welsh language.

1. Support all learners in securing achievement and well-being.
2. Ensure that all learners, including those with additional learning needs, gain full access to opportunities to achieve their potential.
