The Governors of this oversubscribed and forward-looking school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science to join our very successful department. This post is offered on a fixed-term basis until 31st August 2027 due to curriculum and staffing needs within the school. Continuation beyond this date will depend on future staffing requirements and budget considerations.
The successful applicant will have the skills and experience to teach across the Science Curriculum at Key Stage 3 and 4. The role will also include the delivery of a small number of Mathematics lessons.
The department is housed in a purpose-built teaching block consisting of five well-equipped rooms.
This is a pivotal vacancy as the school embraces the Welsh Government’s curriculum reforms and seeks to ensure that our learners are provided with the best possible opportunities to develop their skills in Science. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and NQTs. The successful candidate will be expected to meet the professional standards required of all teaching staff and will be supported through regular review and development opportunities.
