We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and committed Head

of Art to lead and develop this important subject area across the

school.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate practitioner who

believes in the value of Art in developing curious, creative and

reflective young people, in line with the Curriculum for Wales and

its four purposes.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is an excellent classroom practitioner and can lead Art across
• Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, ensuring high standards of teaching,  learning and outcomes
• Is secure in curriculum design, assessment and progression in line with Curriculum for Wales expectations
• Has the ability to lead, motivate and support colleagues
• Is passionate about inclusive education, diversity and critical thinking
• Communicates high expectations and enthusiasm for learning
• Has excellent subject knowledge and practical skills across a range of artistic disciplines.
