The Governors of this popular, over-subscribed and forward-looking school are seeking to appoint

an Admin Assistant to work as part of our front-office team.

As receptionist, the appointee will be the first point of contact for all visitors and telephone callers

to the school. This is a key responsibility and is vital to ensuring everyone is made to feel welcome

as soon as they arrive in our entrance foyer. The post holder will be responsible for providing a

well organised and efficient reprographics service accessed by all other staff. Working

collaboratively with another administrative assistant, the appointed person will also support the

school’s target of improving attendance. The post-holder will support the Wellbeing Team by

monitoring and acting on pupil absence. The role will also involve undertaking a range of financial

tasks, for which full training will be provided.

Further details can be found in the accompanying job description and person specification.

The successful applicant will be expected to play a full part as a member of the support staff team

and will be expected to be flexible in order to react to the dynamic needs of a busy school office.

Hours of work are flexible and will be agreed upon appointment with the successful applicants.

A commitment to support and make a positive contribution to the life and strong Christian ethos

of this thriving 11-18 Catholic high school is essential.

In order to apply, please complete the CES Support Staff Application form and return it to Mrs Keran Machin, Examinations, Staffing and Absence Manager, e-mail address in Job Advert. The closing date is 9am

on 17th October 2025.
