Salary Grade 5 £26403 (Actual Pro Rata: £16803 per annum)
Term Time Only Start Date – as soon as possible
The Governors of Porthcawl Comprehensive School are seeking to appoint a dynamic, proactive and caring individual to provide an efficient, cost effective, high-quality and customer-focused catering service to all customers within a secondary school environment.
The successful candidate will be joining an experienced and well-supported team of support staff. You will be required to assist the Catering Manager with the preparation of school meals. You will assist in the training and organisation of staff. Knowledge of kitchen administration procedures would be an advantage.
You will be expected to cover for the Catering Manager in their absence.
An Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate is required for this post. Training will be provided if necessary.
Working hours will be 8.30am – 2.30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.
This position will evolve, and responsibilities may change/develop, the school is fully committed to you and your continued professional development.
