We are seeking a passionate, purpose driven Head of Mathematics who will inspire curiosity, confidence, and high achievement in every classroom. This is a key leadership appointment for our school and an exciting opportunity to shape how pupils experience Mathematics

As Head of Mathematics, you will need to effectively lead a team, building upon the foundations already in place. You will champion a curriculum that is rich in mathematical thinking, underpinned by the proficiencies, and designed to support every learner to succeed.

This is an opportunity to:

• Further develop and lead an experienced Mathematics department.

• Drive a curriculum that fosters conceptual understanding, reasoning, fluency, and problem solving.

• Inspire pupils with engaging teaching strategies that spark curiosity and build confidence.

• Raise aspirations and secure high standards of progress and attainment across all key stages.

• Contribute to whole school development as a proactive and reflective middle leader.

• Support staff development through coaching, innovation, and a shared commitment to excellence.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is an exceptional classroom practitioner with a deep understanding of effective Mathematics teaching.

• Has the vision, ambition, and leadership skills to take our Mathematics department to the next level.

• Is committed to inclusive education and ensuring all pupils achieve their potential.

• Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
