This is an exciting opportunity for a practitioner keen to progress within the pastoral system of a school.

We are currently looking to recruit a teacher of Religious Education or a Key Stage 2 teacher who can teach in a number of subject areas and we would look to one of those candidates also being a Head of Year (Learning Leader)

We are looking to appoint someone who:

• has pastoral experience in supporting pupil wellbeing, discipline and personal development

• has curriculum experience in Religious Education or is a year 6 practitioner

• has worked effectively with pupils to regulate emotions and actions

• has a commitment to both developing and championing pupils

• has a track record of raising standards in the classroom

The post holder, within the Pastoral Team would lead and monitor the progress of approximately 150 pupils in Year 7. This post has non contact time for leadership and management and there is also a Pastoral Support Assistant linked to this year group who the successful candidate would work closely with. Candidates would also have a teaching commitment.
