Ogmore Vale Primary School is situated north of Bridgend and close to junction 36 of the M4 motorway. The school serves a diverse catchment and is at the heart of the local community with a friendly staff. The school is on a developmental journey and has 300 pupils on roll, which includes 3 learning resource bases.
Due to the promotion of the substantive headteacher we are seeking an experienced and successful Headteacher or school leader who has significant management experience with proven leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills. They will be committed to leading by example and working in partnership with pupils, staff, parents, governors and the local community to provide an environment in which staff and pupils are supported to thrive and achieve their full potential.
We are seeking a Headteacher with a clear vision to continue the drive for high standards in the school. You will provide leadership to the school to maintain its success and to ensure high quality education for all pupils and to continue to raise standards of achievement.
Applicants applying for their first Headteacher appointment must hold the NPQH.
Following their appointment the newly appointed Headteacher will recruit a Deputy Headteacher due to the substantive deputy being successful in securing a promotional post.
