Cynffig Comprehensive School is a successful, 11-18 community school of 800 pupils, conveniently

located along the M4 Corridor near Bridgend South Wales.

The Governing Body of Cynffig Comprehensive School are seeking to appoint an outstanding

Headteacher who will lead the school with vision, integrity and ambition whilst building on its current

success. Applications are welcome from Deputy Headteachers seeking promotion in addition to

existing experienced Headteachers.

A Disclosure Barring Service Check at Enhanced Level will be required for this post.

evaluation.

• Has the ability to improve the school’s strategic planning, current vision and improvement

journey.

• Can build an effective working relationship with the school’s Governing Body and the Local

Authority

• Takes shared responsibility for developing community focus.

• Can confidently manage school finances and budgets.

The Headteacher will take overall responsibility for the Leadership, Management and Conduct

of the School.
