The Governing Body of the Garw Valley Federation wish to appoint a highly motivated and dedicated Learning Support Officer who is committed to making a positive difference across our federation schools.

This post will be based initially at Ffaldau Primary School for a period of one year.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and caring Learning Support Officer to work as part of a highly motivated and friendly team.

The successful candidate will be passionate, patient and enthusiastic, playing a key role in supporting pupils' learning, wellbeing and inclusion. They will contribute to our happy, successful and inclusive school community and be committed to engaging with families and supporting our strong approach to family and community engagement.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving and supportive team of staff, leaders and governors at Ffaldau Primary School and within the Garw Valley Federation.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.

Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.

An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
