Bridgend Music Service is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic vocal studies Instructor to join our committed team of teachers dedicated to inspiring and developing vocal and instrumental music-making across schools in the borough.
You may be required to teach at a combination of primary and secondary schools within the borough, under the direction of the Head of Music – Expressive Arts.
Teaching duties may include 1:1, small group, large group and whole class ‘First Experience’ programmes, along with choir direction.
Applicants must be well qualified, enthusiastic, and experienced performers. Piano proficiency and a strong knowledge of relevant solo vocal and ensemble repertoire are essential.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
