We are looking for a dynamic, innovative, and ambitious teacher who can bring a nurturing and creative approach to two classes of identified Key Stage 4 pupils within our unique Dyfodol curriculum provision (see recruitment pack: Introduction to Dyfodol Provision, p.4–5).
The successful candidate will lead the Key Stage 4 Dyfodol class (two classes of around 15 pupils) delivering high-quality lessons across GCSE English, Skills, and The King’s Trust. This role requires an organised and adaptable teacher who can engage and support pupils with a range of learning needs, helping them achieve their full potential in a supportive environment. While the core focus will be on the delivery of the outlined subjects within the provision, pupils will also attend mainstream secondary lessons for Maths, Science, and one chosen subject.
Although this is a Key Stage 4 post, our current team within the Dyfodol provision is made up entirely of primary-trained teachers delivering a successful curriculum from Year 7 through to Year 11. Therefore, we see this as an exciting opportunity for teachers of all Key Stages.
If you are someone who:
● Is interested in joining a school where we are always looking to develop to suit the needs of all pupils
● has high standards for all and is able to communicate these to pupils in a supportive and caring manner
● has a passion for learning and teaching, including the use digital technology
● has a strong commitment to the wider pastoral role and wish to make a significant, positive impact on young people’s loves
