Maes yr Haul Primary School is a large, successful and inclusive school at the heart of the Broadlands community. We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Special Needs Support Assistant with suitable prior experience to join our dedicated team.
This rewarding role involves supporting individual pupils with a range of additional learning needs, including communication, social, emotional, behavioural, sensory and/or medical needs.
Working closely with class teachers, the ALNCo and external professionals, you will play a key role in supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis to help them achieve their full potential and support their wellbeing, implementing individual development plans and or/therapy programmes, and contributing to the wider life of the school.
We are keen to hear from candidates who are patient, resilient, adaptable and passionate about making a positive difference to children's lives. We have several positions currently available, so we are interested in hearing from candidates seeking either full time or part-time work.
