Tremains Primary School is a two-form entry primary school located in Brackla. The school boasts a unique and diverse learning environment, with three specialist placement classes: two Foundation Phase Observation and Assessment Learning Resource Classes , and a Key Stage 2 ASDLRC. This dynamic setting allows the school to cater to the diverse needs of its pupils, providing tailored support and opportunities for growth.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Support Officer to join our dynamic team at Tremains Primary School. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and providing support to pupils with Additional Learning needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities in the Learning Resource Centre. As an excellent classroom practitioner with experience in specialist placement classes, you will have an in-depth knowledge of supporting children with a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
