Trelales Primary School is seeking to appoint a Supervisory Assistant to work during the lunchtime period, between 11:15am and 1:00pm every day, term time only.
Working as part of a team, the successful candidate will be required to undertake the supervision of the children in the dining hall, also supervising and actively engaging pupils in playground games. Occasionally, supervision would be in other areas of the school building, i.e. during wet breaktimes.
Experience of working with children, and the ability to encourage good behaviour and play amongst pupils would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
