Teacher FTE 0.6 (Temporary) - Brynmenyn Primary Job description 19.5 hours per week Temporary up to 31 August 2026 with expected start date of September 2025. The Governors of Brynmenyn Primary School wish to appoint a motivated and conscientious teacher with experience of teaching within the primary school setting. The appointed teacher will need to: Demonstrate excellent classroom practice. Have the ability to achieve high standards through high expectations of progress and behaviour. Have a strong knowledge and understanding of Curriculum for Wales. Be able to lead an aspect of Curriculum for Wales across the school. Have a good knowledge and understanding of additional learning needs. Have the ability to work collaboratively with staff within their class and as part of the school team. Be dedicated to their own professional development and school improvement. Be able to make a positive contribution to the wider life of school. Display a positive attitude and identify with the values and ethos of the school. Brynmenyn Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post. Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
