Teacher in Observation Class - Maternity Cover - Cefn Cribwr Primary
Job description
32.5 hours per week

The Governors of Cefn Cribwr Primary School wish to appoint an excellent teacher with experience of teaching in the Foundation Phase/ Early Years/ALN environments. The post is full time in our Observation Unit and is to cover the duration of the Maternity Leave, starting April 2026.

Cefn Cribwr Primary School is a vibrant centre of learning; we have high expectations and strive for excellence. The successful candidate will be motivated to work effectively as part of an established team of professionals and be prepared to contribute to all aspects of school life.

Candidates need to be confident classroom practitioners who demonstrate a clear understanding of effective pedagogy thus ensuring all learners reach their full potential. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for ALN. The appointed teacher will need to demonstrate excellent classroom practice. 

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.

Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.

An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
