Teacher of International Languages (Spanish)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, creative teacher who is passionate about the teaching of International Languages. We are looking to recruit an excellent practitioner who can successfully contribute to the whole school ethos of Learn, Grow, Thrive and Flourish and to effectively develop in learning and teaching and wellbeing. If you are the exceptional Teacher of International Languages (Spanish) that we are looking for, you will:

• Be highly effective in the classroom, drawing on a wide range of pedagogical practices to meet the needs of all learners, successfully supporting and challenging learners as they progress through school;

• Demonstrate infectious enthusiasm for the teaching of International Languages, creating a dynamic yet purposeful learning environment for pupils;

• Support the International Languages curriculum team in developing learning and teaching by sharing best pedagogical practices to secure learner progression at all key stages;

• Support the LLC AOLE team in developing learning and teaching by sharing best pedagogical practices to secure learner progression at KS3;

• Willing to actively engage in collaborative professional learning opportunities and promote effective collaboration within the AOLE;

• Develop the confidence of our learners to enjoy learning and to participate fully in the life of the school community.

The International Languages department is a supportive, forward-looking team with an excellent record of pupil achievements at GCSE and A Level.

All staff at Pencoed are provided with a laptop, the school makes extensive use of Google Classrooms.
