Teacher of IT and Computer Science required as soon as possible (MPS/Temporary 0.7)

We are looking for an IT and Computer Science teacher to join us at this exciting time in our development. If you are interested in joining a dynamic, forward-looking department, which can offer you the opportunity of teaching pupils across the 11-18 age range, then this could be the position for you!

The Mathematics and Computer Science Learning Cluster is rapidly developing as we work towards delivering the new Curriculum for Wales. As a learning cluster, not only is there a huge breadth of experience amongst the staff, but also a strong support network exists, which will help you to develop as a practitioner. As a part of the learning cluster, not only will you get first-class support, but also an opportunity to contribute to/deliver Computer Science and IT courses across key stages 3 and 4 (depending on experience and skills), as well as the potential to teach A Level/BTEC courses in Computer Science/IT.

If you are someone who:

  • Is interested in joining a school where we are always looking to develop to suit the needs of the individual
  • has high standards and is able to communicate these to pupils in a supportive and caring manner
  • has a passion for learning and teaching, including the use digital technology
  • sees the role of a teacher as being a partnership between school and home

Then we would like to hear from you.

A Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure Check at Enhanced level will be required for this post.
