Brynmenyn Primary School is a happy and friendly school, age range (3–11). It is situated close to junction 36 of the M4 motorway. The school was built in 2017 and offers state of the art facilities, latest ICT and modern classroom design affording all at Brynmenyn with a first class learning environment. It is situated in the gateway to the Garw valley and serves a varied catchment area with approximately 400 pupils on roll.

The Governors of this successful school seek to appoint an ambitious, enthusiastic and innovative deputy headteacher with excellent management and interpersonal skills to assist the Headteacher in leading a team of dedicated teaching and support staff.

You should be:

an outstanding practitioner committed to raising attainment and school improvement;

passionate about education and has the commitment and drive to lead curriculum developments which enable all children to succeed in their learning;

someone who has the necessary interpersonal and organisational skills to motivate and drive initiatives using the skills of the substantial staff team;

someone with the personality, drive and enthusiasm to support the Headteacher and Governors in leading and managing the school.
