Penybont Primary School is seeking to appoint relief Supervisory Assistants. Working as and when required you will be expected to be available to cover existing staff absences during the lunchtime period, between 11.30 and 1.15, term time only.
Working as part of a team, the successful candidates will be required to undertake the supervision of the children in all areas of the school, and also supervise and actively engage pupils in playground games.
Experience of working with children is essential, with the ability to encourage good behaviour and play amongst pupils would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
Applicants should note that a criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) will be necessary for the successful applicant.
