Purpose:
You will provide efficient cleaning services to ensure the general appearance of the building is maintained to the highest standards. You will create a safe and welcoming environment by following secure working practices and using equipment properly in accordance with safety procedures. You will share our commitment to safeguarding the welfare of all young people while working flexibly to support the wider school team. You will work closely with the site manager, communicate effectively with confidence, and bring a dedicated approach to ensuring our school remains a clean and professional space where every child can flourish.
Duties (further details in the attached application pack):
- Carry out all cleaning tasks as specified by the site manager to maintain the general appearance of the building.
- Use all cleaning materials and equipment in a safe and proper manner while strictly adhering to instructions and procedures.
- Follow all safety and security processes to ensure a secure working environment for pupils and staff.
- Monitor your own standards of cleaning to ensure work consistently meets the academy's required standards.
- Complete all necessary documentation and undertake training to keep skills and knowledge up to date.

Fluency Duty
