Class Teacher & SENDCo

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly skilled class teacher and SENDCo to join our friendly, hardworking team. A commitment to working across the Key Stages is essential, as is a passion to make a difference to those children with SEND.
Work Pattern: Mon to Fri (Class Teacher x2 Days and SENDCo x3 Days)
Hours: Full Time (32.5)
Contract: Permanent
Pay Scale: MPS 1 - 6 Plus TLR (for SENDCo element)
Start Date: 03 September 2026
Closing Date: 11 May 2026 at 07.30am
Interview Date: 18 or 19 May 2026

School Tours

We are looking for someone who:
- Is an exceptional classroom practitioner with good curriculum knowledge
- Has the NA SENCo qualification or is willing to undertake a SENCo qualification within three years
- Is passionate about teaching and learning and wants to play a key role in shaping the strategic vision for SEND
- Sets high expectations for all children
- Has experience of working with children across the primary age range and can draw on knowledge of interventions, training and resources to ensure children with SEND achieve their full potential
- Is a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who can work as part of a team
- Has a thorough understanding of SEND procedures including the EHCP process
- Can develop and nurture relationships with all of our learners and parent community
- Has experience of working with the LA and outside agencies to support children and families
- Is an approachable, inspirational role model who creates safe and nurturing learning environments
