About the role
The Governors at St Peter's C of E Primary School are seeking an individual who is efficient, flexible, friendly, and passionate about providing an excellent support service to our children, staff and visitors. We are looking for someone who is hard working, a consummate professional and willing to be flexible within the challenges of working in a busy primary school.
As a point of contact for all visitors, the ideal candidate should have good customer service skills and thrive in a busy working environment, working calmly under pressure to meet deadlines. The role will provide administrative support and contribute to the smooth running of the school office. You will need excellent organisation skills, be able to multitask in a fast paced working environment and be competent using Microsoft packages. The successful candidate will be joining a highly skilled and committed team who enjoy working together and supporting each other and will contribute to the wider school community.
This is a term-time only position, plus four INSET days.
The standard working hours are:
Monday to Thursday: 10:30am–1:30pm
Friday: 10:00am–2:30pm (including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
There is some flexibility around these hours, and we would be happy to discuss alternative arrangements for the right candidate.
