St Bede's is looking to recruit Exams Invigilators to provide support to the examination process within the College.
The role involves setting up examination rooms by laying out the correct materials and papers, ensuring exam procedures are followed, distribution and collection of examination papers and monitoring students during the examination periods according to the JCQ regulations.
All invigilators must complete statutory safeguarding training and an online invigilation training module which takes approximately 3 hours before their first invigilation.
Employment is offered on a casual, sessional basis from November 2026 for mocks and external exams throughout the year. The hours of work would be between morning and afternoon sessions.
8.30am-12pm AM Session
12.30pm-3.30pm PM Session
Availability from the start of May until end of June is essential.
T he length of exam papers varies and sessions last on average between 2-4 hours.
The hourly rate of pay is £13.45
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check before starting work.
