About Us
Amplify Education is a newly formed multi-academy trust of 22 schools in Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset, created through the thoughtful and planned merger of TiLA and CST. A bold voice for Bristol, we build belief in every young person, expand opportunities, nurture potential and strengthen citizenship. If you’re looking for a Trust that is ambitious, reflective and collaborative, Amplify Education could be the perfect place for you.
We invite you to join our team at Cathedral Primary School. We are a unique two-form primary school, based in the heart of Bristol in the lower floors of the historic Central Library building. Sharing our site with Bristol Cathedral Choir School offers many opportunities for collaboration, and many of our children remain within the wider school community from the ages of 4 to 18.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a charismatic, enthusiastic and suitably qualified Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teacher for this rewarding and exciting post, to join our wonderful team ASAP. We will also consider applications for a September 2027 start. We are particularly seeking a teacher who is ready to take the next step in their career by becoming an EYFS Phase Leader, leading high-quality provision and supporting the development of early learning across the phase.
If you join us, a typical week in this role may see you leading high-quality teaching and learning across the EYFS, inspiring our youngest pupils through engaging, play-based and inclusive learning experiences, supporting and coaching colleagues, and driving improvements in early years provision. You will work collaboratively with staff, pupils and families to create a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child feels valued, develops a love of learning and is supported to achieve their full potential.
In return, we offer a collaborative and caring staff team, professional development opportunities, and a school culture that celebrates both innovation and wellbeing.
You are likely to have developed strong classroom management skills and a creative, adaptable approach to teaching and learning through your experience. You will bring a genuine passion for working with young people, alongside the confidence and ambition to take the next step into a leadership role. With a positive, collaborative attitude, you will support and inspire colleagues, contribute to leading a phase and a core subject, and help to build a thriving and inclusive school community.
