Job Title: Academy Counsellor

Contract: Part Time, 2 days per week, Term time only, plus inset days

Start: As soon as possible

We are looking for an Academy Counsellor to join our supportive and talented team at Bristol Brunel Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.

What we are looking for:

To be successful in this post, we are looking for someone to provide a professional and confidential, integrative counselling service to students experiencing a wide range of psychological and emotional issues. Promote emotional health and well‐being to enable young people to access academy life. Develop student resilience to support them to cope with any challenges they face. Assist colleagues to develop skills and strategies to support students.

The checks will also include an enhanced DBS check and a further check against the appropriate barred list.
