Job Title: Casual Sports Assistant 

Hourly Rate: £12.86 

Full Time Equivalent Salary: £24,819 - £25,548 (CLF Grade Aii). Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.  

Contract Type: Casual  

Hours: Depending on need (to be discussed at interview) All Year Round 

Additional role info: Dependent on need but could include evenings and weekends

To be successful in the post, we are looking for a Sports Assistant who will ensure the safety of those using or hiring the Academies facilities out of academy hours.  

They will provide all visitors with a friendly and positive experience delivering effective customer service and maintaining safe and efficient facilities through supervision and high standards of housekeeping.    

 

About you: 

You will have:  

  • Awareness of policies and procedures relating to health, safety and security, confidentiality, and data protection. 
  • Appropriate first aid qualification or willingness to undertake training (where relevant). 
  • The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with your line manager and fellow sports assistants to ensure the smooth running of the out of hours facilities.  
  • A positive and professional relationship with hirers, community groups and other users. Be the primary point of contact for queries and deal with customer comments and/or complaints in a professional manner.
