About Us

Amplify Education is a newly formed multi-academy trust of 22 schools in Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset, created through the thoughtful and planned merger of TiLA and CST. A bold voice for Bristol, we build belief in every young person, expand opportunities, nurture potential and strengthen citizenship. If you’re looking for a Trust that is ambitious, reflective and collaborative, Amplify Education could be the perfect place for you.

We invite you to join our team at Cathedral Primary School. We are a unique two-form primary school, based in the heart of Bristol in the lower floors of the historic Central Library building.

The Opportunity

We are looking for charismatic, enthusiastic and suitably qualified teachers for these exciting, rewarding and demanding posts  to join our wonderful team from September 2026. We have multiple roles available including FTC, Permanent and a maternity cover and we ask that you please state your preference within your personal statement.

If you join us, a typical week in this role may see you inspiring young minds in the classroom, designing engaging and creative lessons that spark curiosity and a love of learning. You’ll collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-curricular projects, support students’ personal and academic development, and take part in enriching extracurricular activities that bring our school community to life

In return, we offer a collaborative and caring staff team, professional development opportunities, and a school culture that celebrates both innovation and wellbeing.

You are likely to have gained strong classroom management skills and a creative, adaptable approach to teaching and learning through your career or personal experience. You will be able to bring to us a genuine passion for working with young people and a positive, collaborative attitude that helps to build a thriving school community.
