Job Overview

About Us

Amplify Education is a newly formed multi-academy trust of 22 schools in Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset, created through the thoughtful and planned merger of TiLA and CST. A bold voice for Bristol, we build belief in every young person, expand opportunities, nurture potential and strengthen citizenship. If you’re looking for a Trust that is ambitious, reflective and collaborative, Amplify Education could be the perfect place for you.

We invite you to join our team at Victoria Park Primary School.

We are a vibrant, happy and successful two-form entry school in the south of Bristol. We are a hard-working team, committed to achieving excellence in our own practice and providing the best possible opportunities for our children. We pride ourselves on our positive relationships between adults and children, our calm learning environment, and our belief in our four school values of Respect, Curiosity, Kindness and Determination.

The Opportunity

We are looking for energetic, committed and suitably qualified teachers for these rewarding posts to join our wonderful team from September 2026.

We have three classroom teacher roles available from 1st September 2026, consisting of:

  • One full time role offered on a permanent basis.
  • One full time role offered on a fixed term basis for one year.
  • A full time maternity cover role offered on a fixed term basis from 1st September 2026 for 9 months or until the return of the postholder, whichever is sooner.

Please specify which role you are applying for in your application (including if you would be happy to be considered for more than one of the roles).

If you join us, a typical week in this role will see you delivering ambitious, engaging lessons across the breadth of the curriculum, promoting a love of learning and providing a purposeful, safe learning environment for all pupils. You will utilise your passion for teaching, classroom management skills and positive relationships to ensure all children achieve and are successful.

In return, we offer an adaptable and caring staff team, professional development opportunities, and a strong collaborative school culture.

You are likely to have developed strong classroom management skills and a creative, adaptable approach to teaching and learning through your experience. You will bring a genuine passion for working with children. With a positive, collaborative attitude, you will work effectively with colleagues, focussing on achievement for every child and contributing to a thriving and inclusive wider school community.

To find out more about these roles, please read the job descriptions and person specifications.

  • Discounted gym membership, cycle-to-work scheme, eyesight test vouchers
  • Flexible working fully supported and enhanced family friendly policies
  • All new staff are automatically enrolled in the Teacher’s Pension or LGPS Avon Pension Fund.

How to apply …

We are committed to creating an inclusive working environment. If you are excited about this role and can demonstrate many but not all of the requirements on the job description and/or person specification, we would encourage you to apply as you may just be the person we are looking for.

  • Please complete our application form by midnight on Sunday 26th April 2026

Applications are welcome from all suitably qualified candidates regardless of race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or religious belief, sex or sexual orientation, gender reassignment, disability or age, and maternity, marital or civil partner status. We particularly encourage applications from under-represented groups.
