Teacher required for Broomhill Infant School to start as soon as possible.
Broomhill Infant School has eight classes in the main school, including our Nurseries. The Governors and Head Teacher of this vibrant school are seeking an energetic new team member who is enthusiastic and positive, can demonstrate excellent classroom practice and is able to have a significant impact on progress and attainment.
You should:
• be an excellent class teacher with high expectations of all children, both academically and socially
• have a passion for improving the opportunities and outcomes for all children in our community
• have a full understanding of the importance of the Early Years to KS1 transition phase
• have knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage and be able to inspire and motivate children who are excited about their learning
• know how to raise standards by understanding and analysing pupil data for use in accelerating and enhancing pupil’s learning
• be willing to play an active role in all aspects of school life, including trips and running after school clubs
• be able to contribute to at least one area - be committed to a creative approach to teaching and learning
• have high expectations of our children and of yourself professionally
• be fully committed to raising standards in learning
• be able to provide evidence of teaching at a consistently good or outstanding level
• be a flexible, well organised and highly motivated professional
• be able to work in partnership with a team of supportive colleagues
• understand the importance of developing positive relationships with parents and carers be able to communicate effectively with professionals from a range of agencies
