Blaise High School has a strong and consistent approach to school culture. We have a clear set of routines that are well established across the school. These routines enable teachers to focus on

teaching and children to truly learn and be themselves. This structure allows children to climb their own personal mountains to the best universities in the country or careers of their choosing.

We understand that where schools engage external cover or supply teachers that this causes a risk to the culture of the school. As such we are looking for a cover supervisor who is a full-time member of staff at Blaise and so understands how things work at our school.

The appointed cover supervisor will take cover alongside members of SLT. Where we at times put multiple groups into a large teaching space; we will always try and staff this with SLT.

This is a very important role for our school. It will be well suited to someone who has experience in schools, but will be equally well suited to someone who is looking for some in school experience and considering training to teach.
