Bridge Learning Campus are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and committed Subject-Specific Curriculum Support Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality classroom supervision across our secondary departments.
Salary: N13 - 17 £30,023 - £32,046 FTE, Actual £26,255.66 - £28,024.81
Contract: Term Time Only + Inset Days, Permanent

This role will suit someone who either has experience a strong interest and knowledge in Science, Humanities, English and Maths and has experience working with young people, preferably within a school or educational setting. You should be able to communicate clearly and build positive relationships with students and be confident managing classroom behaviour. You will need to be organised, adaptable and able to work effectively across different subjects and year groups.
Key Responsibilities (further details in the attached application pack):
- Supervise classes in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
- Deliver and explain pre-prepared lesson materials and learning activities.
- Support students in completing work and encourage positive attitudes towards learning.
- Maintain a calm, purposeful and positive classroom environment.
- Manage behaviour in accordance with the school's policies and procedures.
- Provide appropriate support and guidance to students in intervention sessions
- Liaise with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback where appropriate.
- Support the wider work administration needs of the department
