We are seeking a creative, skilled and proactive Digital Content Officer to join our Communications Team at Cabot Learning Federation. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work creatively within a small, supportive team, helping to promote our schools, celebrate success across our communities, and strengthen a sense of belonging across the federation.

You will lead the creation and delivery of high-quality digital content that showcases the impact of our academies, enhances the federation's online presence, and engages audiences across a variety of channels.

You will play a key role in the ongoing development of the CLF's digital communication channels, ensuring content is engaging, accessible, accurate and aligned with the federation's strategic priorities. From managing website content and multimedia projects to supporting academy colleagues with their communications activity, you will help maximise the impact of our digital presence.

Whether filming and editing videos, creating visual content, producing newsletters and podcasts, or supporting trust-wide campaigns, your work will help strengthen the reputation of the federation, celebrate achievement, and bring to life the stories that matter most across our schools and communities.

About you

You will have:

  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent qualifications), together with a Level 3 qualification in Digital Marketing, Digital Media, Creative Media Production or a related subject, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience planning, filming and editing high-quality video content, alongside a strong working knowledge of camera equipment and editing software.

  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite software such as Photoshop and video editing tools.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences and stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational, project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A creative and innovative mindset, combined with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • An understanding of digital communications, audience engagement and content management systems, with experience of using a wide range of social media platforms.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, equality and continuous improvement, with a passion for supporting education through effective communications.
