Executive Headteacher

E-ACT is a National and System Leader Trust, one of the most established Trusts in the country and serving some of the most disadvantaged communities. This role is across two of E-ACT’s academies in Bristol and combines the strategic leadership of E-ACT’s Merchants Academy in Withywood (2-16) and E-ACT Montpelier School (11-18) to the north of the city.

You will play a central role in shaping provision so that we provide the best possible education for every pupil and our young people to thrive and achieve. You will not be working alone. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with Executive Leaders and a high functioning support team, drawing on expertise that exist across our MAT. Collaboration and sharing expertise are keys to bringing our aims and values to life

We care deeply about delivering the highest quality of education and are looking for someone who shares our thinking and can embrace the opportunity. If you are a high quality leader with the creativity, courage and commitment to enable both staff and pupils to succeed, then we want to hear from you.

Closing date: Monday 16th March – 9.00am

E-ACT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults. All appointments are subject to enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks and satisfactory references. E-ACT is also committed to promoting equality, challenging discrimination and developing community cohesion. We welcome applications from all sections of the community.

Safeguarding Statement:

All E-ACT academies, the Ambassadors and Headteachers are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment, and undergo appropriate checks including an enhanced DBS check.
