‘A highly ambitious curriculum inspires learning, builds resilience and opens a world of opportunity. Pupils thrive academically and spiritually. This is because spiritual development is an intrinsic part of the everyday experience for pupils’ SIAMS February 2023.

‘See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.’ Revelation 3:8

The Governors at St Peter’s C of E Primary are looking to appoint an excellent highly motivated teacher who has proven experience in EYFS with an excellent knowledge of phonics and the Early Years Curriculum to join our staff team. You must be committed to making a difference to children’s lives and have a passion for inclusive education.

We are looking for a teacher who is committed to raising achievement for all children and are willing to embrace St Peter’s values and approaches to teaching and learning.

High expectations of children’s potential and the ability to make effective relationships with children that enable learning to take place are essential.

St Peter’s Vision is for a 'World of Opportunities'. We wish for everyone to aim for excellence and fulfil their individual potential. We create opportunities throughout school which allow our children to grow, develop and thrive without limitation. Everyone at School is valued, cared for and taught how to take advantage of opportunities now and in the future.

‘The impact of the well-taught curriculum has been significant. Pupils produce a range of high-quality work. It shows their development of knowledge and skills through the curriculum. This includes those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Staff make adaptations to learning so that pupils with SEND learn the same curriculum as their peers.’ OFSTED June 2024.
