Job Title: Finance Assistant

Full Time Salary: £28,859 - £31,111 (Full time equivalent)

Actual salary based: £20,552 - £22,156 (Pro rata based on hours worked)

Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only, plus 5 Insets + 1 week during the holidays

Hours: 30 Hours per week

Additional role info: Working pattern can be flexible within the working week Monday – Friday within core hours.

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our supportive and talented team at Bristol Brunel Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.

What we are looking for:

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who will ensure all financial procedures are carried out accurately and in accordance with CLF and academy policies, Department for Education (DfE) guidance, and relevant legislation. You will act as the first point of contact for general finance queries from academy staff, students, parents/carers, and the CLF central team. The role will also involve working closely within the Academy, collaborating with senior leadership and the central team to support effective financial administration.
