The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced General Kitchen Assistant to join our successful and friendly catering team. The hours of work will usually be 10.00am to 2.00pm Monday to Friday. The duties will include:
assist in the preparation of school meals
To contribute to the delivery of a very high-quality level catering service as determined by the school
To serve meals and wash up
To observe Food Safety Rules to prevent contamination of food
To clean the kitchen premises and equipment including heated and cold serving trolleys, walls and floors as required
To report any problems that may arise
To carry out the daily physical demands of the job i.e. lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, bending.
To be dedicated, enthusiastic and effective
About You
The successful candidate will have experience in a large catering establishment. They will be reliable, trustworthy and friendly to encourage a positive lunchtime atmosphere
