An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head chef to join our kitchen team at Whitehall Primary School. We are seeking an enthusiasic and experienced chef to lead the team in the development of menus, preparation, cooking and service for the lunchtime provision. You will be responsible for the sourcing and ordering of nutritionous local produce, ensuring the menus meet the School Food Standards.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of managing or running a school kitchen or similar environment
- Be an outstanding cook with great teamworking skills
- Have the ability to understand and implement safer eating guidelines within budgets and maintaining various food preferences and allergern awareness
- Be customer service focused
- be able to adapt and manage in a busy environment

The hours of the role are 07:30 to 14:30 Monday to Friday, Term time plus 3 weeks.
