This is a varied and rewarding role where you will work closely with teachers and support staff to contribute to the planning, delivery and assessment of learning.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant who will provide cover for PPA and subject leadership release time in years 3 to 6.
We are looking for individuals who can:
• Deliver learning to whole classes, groups and individuals
• Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
• Contribute to planning, assessment and evaluation of learning
• Promote positive behaviour and create a safe, engaging learning environment
• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to other classroom support staff
• This role will involve delivering planned lessons and supporting pupils independently where required
We are looking for someone who:
• Has relevant experience/ equivalent qualification
• Is calm, organised and able to think on their feet
• Is confident delivering whole-class learning
• Brings energy, creativity and a genuine love of learning
• Can maintain high expectations while nurturing every child’s confidence

The successful candidate will need to have minimum of 3 GCSE passes at Grade C (or equivalent) or above (including English and Maths), experience of working with or caring for children, have a wonderful ability to relate well to both children and adults.
