We are seeking to appoint a committed, resilient and highly motivated Inclusion Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join Blaise High School and become an integral member of the Pastoral team, making a significant difference to the lives of young people who face significant barriers to attendance and behaviour. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a bespoke timetable and supporting students to successfully reintegrate into mainstream school.

Main responsibilities:

Working closely with the pastoral team, you will deliver a tailored timetable for students who require additional support due to significant barriers around their attendance or behaviour.

The role will include:

● Acting as a tutor and key adult for identified students.

● Teaching an adapted core and wider curriculum to individuals and small groups.

● Providing targeted academic and pastoral support.

● Developing positive relationships with students and their families.

● Working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to secure the best possible outcomes for young people.

You will need:

● Qualified Teacher Status

● Relevant Degree

● Evidence of / Commitment to continuing professional development
