SS Peter and Paul is a small and friendly Catholic primary school that serves the parishes of St Peter and Paul (Clifton Cathedral) and St Mary on the Quay. We are currently seeking a full time Key Stage 2 teacher on a fixed term contract to start in September 2026. We would like to appoint someone who is inspirational and talented as well as being passionate about making a difference to the children in our school. We are looking for a classroom teacher who will:
Work closely with the Headteacher and the school community to maintain the strong Catholic ethos throughout the school
Work with the school community to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all members of our community
Promote a positive learning environment for all learners in our school
Ensure that all children make progress and reach their full potential in all areas of the curriculum including those disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND
Value professional development and seek opportunities to advance their knowledge and career
Be a team player and be willing to go the extra mile
Lead an area of the curriculum – to be agreed
