We are looking for a part-time, Learning Support Assistant or aspiring Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team in September 2026. This is a part-time position, 32.5 hours per week over 5 days (fewer days/hours will be considered), term-time only.
This is a vital role providing dedicated one-to-one support across our schools, enabling pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEND), including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and social communication difficulties, to access learning, achieve their full potential, and participate fully in all aspects of school life.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality support to pupils with enhanced funding, including learning support, targeted interventions, support with social interaction, and assistance during playtimes and off-site activities.
In addition, the successful candidate will:
• Be an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual able to cope in a high-pressure environment with constantly changing priorities.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults.
• A commitment to the happiness well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school.
• Have previous experience working with children with SEND in an educational setting (desirable)
