Level 2 Teaching Assistant - BG8

Contract: Permanent 

Interview Date: Thursday 4th September or Friday 5th September

The post is full-time hours (Monday to Friday, 31.25 hours)

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and hardworking Learning Support Assistants to join our amazing school team and play a role in enabling all children (including those with SEND) to access the full life and opportunities of the school. You will be part of a fantastic team of practitioners who can support and train you to grow within the role. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, enthusiastic and positive.

The successful applicant will be/have:

  • Qualified to a GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English & Maths plus GCSE in at least 3 other academic subjects.
  • At least 1 years’ experience of working effectively in a learning/childcare setting
  • The skills and understanding necessary to engage all children in their learning.
  • Able to contribute to the life of the school.
  • The ability to work under direction as part of a team and able to use their own initiative.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a disclosure application and provide details of any criminal convictions.
