E-ACT Greenfield Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 Nursery Lead to provide high-quality early years provision and lead our nursery setting. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

As Nursery Lead, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the nursery, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. You will plan and deliver high-quality early years provision in line with the EYFS framework, support and guide staff, and build strong relationships with parents and carers to promote children’s development and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and delivery of a creative, engaging EYFS curriculum
  • Ensure high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding
  • Monitor children’s progress and maintain accurate records
  • Support, coach, and model best practice for nursery staff
  • Build positive partnerships with parents and external professionals

Pay range: SCP12-17 - £18,788.23 - £20,380.74 - FTE: £28,598.00 - £31,022.00 - 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
  • Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Experience in an early years setting, ideally with leadership responsibility
