E-ACT Greenfield Academy is excited to invite applications for an enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Lead to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping a vibrant and nurturing early years environment where every child is supported to flourish and achieve their full potential.

As our Nursery Lead, you will inspire and lead the day-to-day running of the nursery, creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating setting that sparks curiosity and a love of learning. You will deliver high-quality early years provision in line with the EYFS framework, while supporting and motivating staff to maintain excellent standards of care and education.

You’ll also build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers, working in partnership to support each child’s development, wellbeing, and early experiences.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Lead the planning and delivery of a creative, engaging EYFS curriculum
  • Ensure high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding
  • Monitor children’s progress and maintain accurate records
  • Support, coach, and model best practice for nursery staff
  • Build positive partnerships with parents and external professionals

Pay range: SCP12-17 - £18,788.23 - £20,380.74 - FTE: £28,598.00 - £31,022.00 - 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

Qualifications and Skills:  

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
  • Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Experience in an early years setting, ideally with leadership responsibility
